Nine months after the 2010 soccer fans have left, thousands of innocent babies are expected to be born in South Africa as an after effect of the 'success of the tournament'.

In response to an article written by Vivian Attwood in the Sunday Tribune in September 2009 in which she reported on the possible after effects of the 2010, the question of the likely increased number of abandoned new born babies was put to the founder of Shepherd’s Keep Colin Pratley, whose concerns were raised. Shepherd’s Keep is a home for abandoned babies, mostly new borns who have been ‘discarded’ down latrines, pits and increasingly left in black bags on highways.

A comment was also made that relative to the total population of KwaZulu Natal, that even a thousand unwanted babies was not significant.

everyONEcounts is appealing to artists all over the world to join ONE thousand other artists and pledge a 30 x 30cm work in any medium. Each of these will be sold for ONE thousand rand and the ONE million rand raised will be used for the care an protection of these abandoned lives.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
